Staining – I have applied many different stains over the years both oil based and water based to a number of areas inside and outside of the home. These stains vary from windows, doors, base boards and casements, staircase spindles and hand rails, decks, wooden beams, fencing right through to whole garage exteriors in some cases.
Varnishing - A product which is used over the top of stained timber mainly on interior work, it can also be applied straight onto new wooden surfaces, in which case it pays to build up several coats to produce a long lasting durable finish. Again varnish can be used in many areas of the house to enhance the natural look of wood.
Paint Effects - These are paint finishes that can be applied to most internal walls to create something a little different, usually applied by brush or roller then textured with different tools to suit each effect.
Some people like to pick out one wall in say the lounge or dinning room to have as the feature wall or sometimes choose to have the effect throughout a complete room. The finishes vary and usually incorporate two or three colours.
Wall coverings - All types of wallpaper whatever the pattern or finish, I have hung many different papers over the years and they really do give your home a personal look. Also there are some papers that have a raised or embossed surface which are plain white, these papers are then painted over once hung.
Wide Vinyls - A very durable product used mainly in offices, restaurants, hotels and banking institutions, it comes in a variety of grades depending on where it is being used.
The vinyl itself is usually 52-54 inches wide and covers large areas in a relatively short time.
